Last weekend the final round of South German On-Road Championship took place in Singen. It was also the last chance for some good practice for the upcoming German Championships in 3 weeks at the same place.
The technical track is brand new and awesome to drive. After 4 weeks of no track time it was a kind of comeback for me.

Qualifying Modified
In Modified my Orca powered T4 was working just awesome since the first lap. So I was able to test a few different Set-up´s to get the best Set-Up for the championship in 3 weeks. After the 6 rounds of qualification on Saturday I was able to take an easy overall TQ and also set the fastest lap! Second place was the local XRAY driver Markus Wegmann, who showed some strong runs.
Qualifying Stock
In Stock I took an easy TQ with 6 out of 6 qualification runs. Behind me it was a nice fight between three other XRAY guys Hannes Soyke, Maximilian Stähle and Thomas Wegmann.

Modified Finals
In all finals Markus was able to put some light pressure on me at the first laps, but after 2-3 laps I was able to break away and finish the runs with about 4-5 second lead. So I could take three easy wins in the finals and had some great runs with hot conditions where my T4 was working awesome, too.
Like in the qualifications runs after the first few laps I was able to put a 3-4 seconds gap between me and the drivers behind me. The battle for the podium was behind me. Like in the quali runs Hannes Soyke, Maximilian Stähle and Thomas Wegmann had some great and close fights through all three finals. In the end it was Thomas Wegmann who had the luck on his side and was able to take overall position 2 in front of Maximilian Stähle.

In the end it was a great weekend Singen. For me one of the nicest RC facilities in Germany. My XRAY T4 cars were working absolutely brilliant the whole weekend. And also a lot of other XRAY drivers showed the great performance of the XRAY cars on this track. Really looking forward for the German championship in 4 weeks!
